2020 Press release in ASL announces that the book Alcoholics Anonymous is now available in a fully updated American Sign Language (ASL) translation. This “basic text” of the worldwide Fellowship that bears its name is now available on DVD to the Deaf community, the Hard-of-Hearing community and the hearing community. To clarify, the entire AA Big Book was not translated. The basic text means the first 164 pages and the co-founders stories are available in American Sign Language. The personal stories in the Big Book have not been translated yet.

“Young and Sober in AA: It could save your life” This young person’s drinking was out of control. In this short video, they describe bringing a water bottle filled with vodka to bring to school. A chance opportunity to go to a meeting led them to choose sobriety in A.A., where they found friends, meaning and a new way of life.
“Young and Sober in AA: I thought drinking made me an artist" An alcoholic black, trans woman got sober young, and realized that she did not have to be drunk to be creative. She took a chance on Alcoholics Anonymous and learned she didn't have to drink one day at a time.
